Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use our websites, including people who rely on assistive technology. We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and treat accessibility as part of how we build, not a separate project.

  1. How we build

    • Semantic HTML, landmarks and a logical heading structure, so pages can be navigated with a screen reader.
    • Keyboard access to navigation, controls and interactive views, with visible focus.
    • Respect for the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system. Scroll animations and moving figures hold still, and interactive 3D views keep their motion to what you control.
    • Still images in place of real‑time 3D views where a browser can’t display them, and keyboard controls for the chip explorer.
    • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and colour contrast intended to meet WCAG AA without relying on colour alone.

  2. Third‑party content

    Some services we link to, such as scheduling pages and conference sites, are run by third parties. We choose accessible providers where we can, but we don’t control their content.

  3. Feedback and assistance

    If you meet a barrier on our websites, need information in another format or would like an accommodation, email legal@tapeoutlabs.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line. Tell us the page, what happened, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We’ll acknowledge your message within five business days and get you what you need while we fix the underlying issue.

  4. Ongoing review

    We review our websites for accessibility as they change and update this statement when we do.
